Hi
I am thinking of buying a Kimber .22 conversion kit. What I am wondering about is two things. First are these kits good quality and do they work ok. Second will they work on my STI Spartan 45 ACP gun? Any help on this matter would be much appreciated.

Thanks Graydog

The Kimber conversion unit is one of the best ones around. Quality is very good.
They can be ammo senitive but that is the nature of a lot of .22's.

They are designed to fit on most 1911 .45 pistols with a non ramped barrel. Your STI should work just fine.

If you get the owner manual with the kit, it will suggest that if you want to use it with all varieties change to a lighter mainspring otherwise stay with hypervelocity .22's
