Info needed on Weaver Classic V-Series Scopes

looking for info & advice on this scope? Weaver Classic V-Series Scopes 4-16x42 w/ .223 Ballistic-X reticle.

anyone own or try this scope?

Not exactly that one, but I had a V-9 Classic (3-9x38mm.) I sold it to replace it with a fixed power but I think they are well made with good glass and are very good value.

Decent glass and quality in the classic series. Perhaps eye relief is less than optimal but not an issue except for heavy recoiling rifles. No problem on a .223
