Info on 2009 IPSC Nationals

Just wondering if there is any web site or some known information about host hotels, dates and times, and the such for this years Nationals.

WestJet is currently having a seat sale for flights to Halifax. It still expensive but these are the lowest prices that I have seen for the last couple of months.

We do not have the 2009 Nationals web site up and running yet (at least as far as I know). I have developed one in mock up form only. I've only populated it with mocked up proposed stages so far.

I'll check with Sean and the committee to see if I can strip out the stages (make them all TBD) and get the basic info out there to start.

You should talk to the hotel.

I just called to book my room.

1) the central registration had no listing about the match so I had to call the hotel directly.

2) the "block" of rooms is only booked from the Tuesday till the Sunday. I would imagine that many people will be wanting to stay over the Sunday night checking out Monday morning August 3rd.

Looking forward to this match!

Then you should look at changing the website which states

When booking your room, mention IPSC Canada to get the Match Rate.

Plus change the date range.

The website has been updated to refer to AMA rather than the 2009 Nationals in regards to booking rooms at the Match hotel.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I appreciate the feedback so I can get it fixed, though!

The Hotel's been contacted on Friday and all you have to say is IPSC Nationals or AMA. The website is being updated to tell you what to mention.

As for the block, I'll check into it Monday - it was supposed to be for Sunday night too. No biggie, but I need to talk with someone who works weekdays.

The rate is good for anyone staying for an AMA (the host club) event anytime.

There was no problem extending the stay what so ever at the special rate. It was just that when I went to book the room the lady I was talking too automatically booked it until the Sunday morning.

I just did not want anyone getting burned out of a room by a clerical error.
