Info on Africa

Guys, thanks for all the great info. Have several outfits now to look into, and lots of homework to do, but still lots of time.

Anybody want to tag along? :D

Thanks, How is the muzzle flip with the low stock?

Regards,
Henry

Low stock? I don’t think so, must be the camera angle, I find her very controllable, more a powerful push back than a strong muzzle flip, given that she is delivering over 5,0000 Ft lbs of energy.

No about the low stock!!!!!!!!!!! The but is inline with the barrel which makes a direct recoiling gun. BRAVO! Very Nice and rare! But, you should look into acquiring a Chapuis. René and now Vincent make more African game guns than anyone else inthe World. They have over 30,000 sq Ft of temperature controled warehouse of Turkish wood ! Their actions, well, will never shoot loose!

Meanwhile, they built me a very nice 28 ga, round body with a one off 30 inch barrels. It did take me a month to convince Bernard(export manager) that the French could build one!

Regards,
Henry;)

I could PM you the pics of 28.

Another comment about A - Square. They do make rifles using Springfield actions. They are very heavy and have a very close bolt to stock relation. This is an inline recoil system with much weight of the stock, thus reducing recoil sans any muzzle break!

Henry;)

Too bad the rest of an A-Square rifle looks like a cobbled pile of sh1t.
They look and fit like something designed by a executive board at WallMart.

I think heavy recoiling rifles can be too straight focusing all the recoil straight back.
