Hi guys and gals i need some info and value on a double barrel percussion 12ga shotgun,i admit from the start that i know very little about black powder guns. The shotgun is stamped Spencer Richmond yorkshire on the barrel and that is all the markings i have found,it's percussion with 2 hammers 2 triggers 36" barrels and a one piece wood stock that has had a repair at the wrist sometime in its history. The ram rod is missing and overall finish is a brownish patina with some surface rust on the butplate and trigger guard.Any info on the maker or it's value is greatly appreciated,i imagine this old girl is destined to be a wall hanger, not sure if anybody still shoots these old guns.I guess i'll keep her as a wall hanger unless someone out there is interested. Thanks for your help in advance.

Don't really have any info regarding its history. As far as value, it will not be very high in the condition described. Many of these guns are in the $400.00 to $500.00 area in fairly nice working condition. Some are higher depending on the maker and condition while many have lower values because of condition issues. There are those that do shoot these old guns. However, that is only after they are deemed safe by someone who knows antique guns. Hard to know for sure without seeing pics of your gun but it's likely relegated to wall hanger status with roughly a $200.00 value. However, pics could dictate other wise.
