No, it's a low SVD mount that I got from an outfit in Utah. I forget the exact name of the place but they are connected to nightvision. They cut down standard mounts so that they are close to the reciever. I think the idea behind this is so they can be used on SKS's, but as luck would have it they fit the VZ58 perfectly. I bought the red dot from the same place.

It looks like the mounts from kalinkaoptics are 3/4" to 1" higher than the Low SVD mounts. If the low ones from Utah were any lower they would not fit at all.
