would like some details on a Sportco 12 ga. semi auto shotgun model 88 we aquired recently. Google does not have a lot and would like to know if this is a copy of some other mfg., if parts are available, are there many around etc? It seems to function ok but is not a high end gun by any means. Thanks for any help.

I think you are SOL. It was an indigenous Australian design manufactured by Sportco in Adelaide. The company closed down in 1980. The gun was deemed prohibited subject to a buyback in 1996.
