So C&P this from another poster:
"Rock-Ola started producing M1 Carbines in November 1942 & stopped production May 31 1944 . Of the 60 odd components of a M1 Carbine IBM & Quality Hardware made all but two for their carbines. Saginaw Steering made 24 parts,Underwood 19, Winchester 18, Rock-Ola 13,Inland, National Postal Meter, and Standard Products 4 each. The remainder of the components were produced by a great many subcontractors
Carbine production from 1942 - 1945
Inland made 2,642,097
Winchester " " 818,059
Underwood " " 545,616
Saginaw " " 517,212
National Postal Meter 413,017
Quality Hardware " " 359,666
IBM " " 346,500
Standard Products " " 247,160
Rock-Ola " " 228,500
Total Carbines produced 6,117,827 in 3.5 yrs"
Could some one tell me which manufactuer can fetch the most dollars to the least amount of dollars. No need to know the actual dollar amount. This is assuming everything is original, not a refurb, and functions perfectly.
