Can anyone tell me more about this? It's useless to me but all I know is that it's a Vet's tranq gun.

It is a Cap Chur tranquilizer gun (probably early model ) ! We use that in animal control to shoot .50 caliber darts filled with drug to tranquilize animals. I have been using one like that for over 12 years now to tranquilize vicious dogs ( I work in Municipal Law Enforcement & Animal control) There are various size of darts depending of the size and weight of the animal you have to put asleep !

Thank you very much for the info. There was nothing on the gun to indicate what it really was. I at first thought that it was one of the original paintball marker guns but that was quickely proved wrong. Now the question is what to do with it? Can I use commercial CO2 tanks? I imagine that you pretty much need to be a vet to use the darts and certainly to use the traqualizers. Hmm. Good for road rage. Even if I shoot myself to calm down. Remember that scene from Old School? "You guys are craaazzzyyyy." Love it but it would likely prove fatal.

I have no use for it either, but if you're interested in selling it, let me know. The pistol looks like a variation on a Crosman 150, and probably shares lots of parts.

Yes you can used regular 12g C02 cartridge. You can also get '' Training darts '' which you can use to practice shooting. I have never tried it but maybe you can use it as a Marble or bearing gun if you can find some of the right size ?? Personally I would not recommand it. If you do so watch yourself as they will more likely bounce back at you if shooting hard surfaces.

Here is a picture of mine with C02 and seringes (darts)
