I picked up this rifle and have noticed a few marks on it that i would like to find out what they mean.According to serial number was made in 1910.Is there any experts here on these guns or can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks,Glen

Hi ,not really an expert .I have a small group of the selfloaders and do shoot them , and have taken them apart for cleaning and service .Did have to resort to turning cases for the 35,351,401 and the easiest one to make ammo for is the 32 .These are fun to shoot ,fairly accurate and not too bad for recoil (401is kinda meaner).Usually lay out a tarp to make finding the empties easier as they take time to make and to purchase are quite expensive . This is my experience and hope this helps Cheers Peter

There are a couple different markins. In one spot three marks all on top of each other. Can't make out the top one,but then under it a crown and a B.On another spot "St.m G." and then either 0990G.B. or 099 G.B.P
