How much can you nabb a Norc lower for? I think i might go this route.

Have not heard of any for sale in a long time, I think they are not as abundant as they were 3 or 4 years ago. The only place you might get a lower would be from someone on EE.

As far as I know they have stopped importing them, that is what I was told by P-D Ent. in Edmonton. I have 2 of them I bought about 6 years ago and I have yet to have either one so much as even jam. I have the colt .22lr adapter and I have put thousands of rounds thru it with out a jam and shoots to the same point of aim to about 50 yards which is great for practicing. Great rifles for the money, I paid $1000 for the both of them and a norinco .45acp a1.

You won't get much of a finish if you try to park the aluminum lower.
Set yourself up an anodizing system.

I would Guncote it, available from Brownells. It works really good.
if you can't get Guncote, Duplicolor High Heat engine paint works good when you bake it in the oven.
