Info please on: The ".45 Target"

At a family Easter dinner I was given a rifle that had been hiding in the back closet for 20+ years. I'm not a black powder shooter, so pardon my description.

The rifle has a 28" octagonal barrel with excellent 8 groove rifling (it was never fired). The sucker weighs at least 10 pounds. The trigger guard doubles as a "spring" for the hammer. It appears to take primer "caps" on a nipple on the underside of the barrel before the trigger guard. The barrel is marked on top with:

NUMRICH ARMS
HOPKINS & ALLEN THE ".45 TARGET"
W. HURLEY N.Y.

Underneath the barrel is stamped with a "GT" and just before the nipple with a "34xx" (serial number?) The rear iron notch sights are stamped with the word "MARBLE". It also has an aperture sight at the rear.

Can anyone tell me anything about this rifle, including an estimate of value?
It has some minor surface rust in places, but the stock and barrel/action are in overall great shape.

It's an H&A underhammer rifle. The Target model was the heavy barrel, no ramrod version of the underhammer series. I have just purchased the "Offhand" model. Same thing, with a lighter barrel.
They are not high end guns - I have a 1974 Shooters Bible that lists the Target model at $84.95 US dollars. There is a folowing to underhammer guns, though. They bring about the same price nowdays as any other repro black powder gun. $250 - 500.
 
Exactly like the gunbroker photo...Thanks H_Wally. Its note in quite as good shape, but close. I'll try to put up some photos when I put it in the EE. My grandfather and I are going to go 50/50 on the proceeds...
