tiriaq is right. You can't date a Luger by its serial number without a lot of other information that most folks don't have. Lugers have dates stamped on the gun. Sometimes it's crossed out and another date stamped, but it should be on the gun. If you can't find it, you might write out what is stamped on the gun.
