The police models don't come up that often, especially the 308's. I'd say the price is reasonable given the extra mags. I personally prefer the plain jane 7600 mags, and a little longer pipe. I think 20" would be perfect, or maybe the 18.5" if you can find an old one. I had an 06 carbine, and found it too have too much muzzle blast for my liking. If you want one cheaper find a plain 760/7600, and bob the barrel. They come up often enough at or under the $400 mark. Plus I prefer a wood stock but that's just me again.

With the extra mags it is probably reasonable but if you aren't going to use them that's another story. You can probably find some one to trade you a nice wood stock.
