Hi Folks; Are there any experts or collectors of Darne [French] shotguns in the audience? Anyone know their values? Anyone know someone who collects them? Specifically the Sliding Breech model.

I have seen a few of the sliding breech 16 guages that ranged from 1600 to 2600. Darne shotguns are from St Etienne France. Manufactured from 1881 to 1979. They came in 12,16,20,28 guages with a variety of barrel lengths. I think that there were five different grades available, not sure though. Hope this helps
