Hi,

i received this vintage side by side shotgun, but i cant find a lot of information about it. I think it was made in belgium by the proofs (liege?) Could you help me ID it? Unfortunately, one of the firing pin is broken.

Your gun is Belgian made for the trade industry so it could have been made by any number of Belgian gun makers back in the day. I believe it was made around 1924.
As for the firiing pin, remove the good one and get one made. Usually quite an easy task.

Your gun is not even close to being the same as the one in the link at Joe Salter. Yours is a Belgian made trade gun meaning it was made by a Belgian maker for a North American firm (often hardware type stores) that had their name stamped on it. Yours is a lower quality gun with a value in Canada around $350.00 give or take.
That gun is not even the same type of gun as yours, meaning you have a sidelock and that gun is a boxlock. Plus your gun has external hammers and the other does not.
