Hey guys

Has anyone tried the newly available On-X Hunt mapping in Canada?

Seriously considering signing up for it, but wondering how it compares to other mapping services.

Didn’t work sh!t for me and then got told I needed to pay to actually have anything worth while! So I stayed with i-hunter.

When it first came available to Canada and it was a free app but with #### for maps and info, so I went back to ihunter!

I signed up for it over a year ago now. It's not nearly as good as they make it sound. In the U.S.A you can see who owns every peice of land and has contact info. That being said. It's still handy and is really good for marking locations, and leaving information attached too different areas you can hunt. I did use it too find a significant amount of new areas too hunt around me that are all public access.

Another vote for iHunter here. On X sounds great, but its too much money - $99usd a year IIRC? If the cheaper options were available to Canadians that might make it worth a 2nd look, but iHunter costs only a few bucks for the base model which includes a lot of features, and to get the pay-to-play layers like private property boundaries is only like $10/year IIRC.

From what I've looked at the only way OnX is worthwhile in Canada is if you hunt like 5+ provinces a year or multiple provinces and multiple states.
