Inglis HP Buttstock info required

There was a thread a while ago on the Inglis High Power buttstocks and I cant find it.

Anyhow I would like as much info on these as I can if possible.

Inglis stocks

In Winnipeg, back in the sixties, a friend came across a box of stocks and wooden caps, that were new and never completed. This box wax about 3' x 3' x 3'. He found that they were made by some outfit in Transcona, which has since been swallowed up by the city of Winnipeg. After trying to find the hardware for the stocks , he found that they were scrapped after the war. He then traded the catch-less and hinge-less stocks off to some dealer.

A friend who grew up in Saskatchewan says that after the war he burned a lot of them (the unfinished ones) for fire-wood....

MRCLARK, do you have access to Clive Law's book "The Inglis Diamond" ?
Theres a few pages regarding the wood stocks in it. In a nutshell, 29,038 total manufactued, wood componants built by SAL (Small Arms Ltd), metal by John Inglis,web belt attachment by Zephyr Loom and Textile (Toronto)
I'm not sure what other info you're after

No, the decal is one of "headdamage"s repros

I just saw one of these stocks sell on Ebay for about $500USD. Is this the going rate for them?

They aren't as common in the US as here so they go for bigger $$
I think the last stock (only) I saw for sale here in Canada was around $300
