Inglis HP Production numbers?

I was wondering how many HP's were made in total by inglis during their production in 1944 and 1945 (right dates?).

How many were produced for canada? China? Other countries?

Are their any left unissued in CF stocks?

I *think* they are still taking new unfired ones out of boxes for issue. but I am not sure. I wish Canada would sell them all to a country that has no problem with selling surplus to civies so us civies can buy them back.

According to R. Blake Steven's book on the Browning Hi-Power Inglis built 151,816 HPs from Feb44 untill Sept 45. He goes on to say all production was delivered to the Canadian Army depot who then distributed the pistols,so Inglis has no records of how many pistols were sent to other countries.
There is a persistent rumour in the CF that the army stil has a war reserve of(up to 5000) unissued Hi-Powers. Given the much better condition of the pistols in Afgahnistan compared to the ones used for practice here it may be true.
