If it were me I'd do nothing right now, soon enough there may no longer be a registry. If you do call, it will have to be the executor that makes the call. Assuming you have a P.A.L it will be no issue at all.
The trigger lock should be easily removed if you unscrew the trigger guard, then slip off the lock and reinstall the guard. Toss the lock in the garbage, you don't need them anyhow!!!!

I was just left an old .22 cal from my Grandfather. Now the problem is it has a Trigger Lock on it and I have no key. Also how do I go about finding out if it is registerd and if it's not what do I need to register it. Thanks
