Inheriting 2 rifles,need help.

It looks like a model 1200C to me...I had a few that ver very similar,but they had safari engraved on the side of the reciever...nice guns,they worked well and were decently accurate

Thanks,I can't find any words like 'safari' anywhere,just ........Parker Hale 270 W.
What year might it be ? Anybody else got any theories ? Any info welcome.

yep its a 1200C, have one myself. send me a pm and we can compare serial#,mine was bought new 1976, paid $277.00 with two boxes of shells.

Good - It was their deluxe model back then, complete with rakishly styled stock from Italy. C stands for clip...

That's 'good' to know,just need to fix the stock (you can see the damage on one picture) and find a spare 'c' !!
