Inletting a T-slot rail into a walnut stock?

This is a question for those of you who do stock work.

I plan on inletting a rail to fit my M-Pod into my CZ 455 walnut stock.

I know some will say I'm ruining it but I really want to use this bipod.




I'm just looking for some advice/ tips and tricks to make it look good. I want it to look like it came from the factory like that.

Put in a second sling swivel and get the sling swivel adapter bracket mystic precision has to go with the m-pod
That's what I'm going to use on the stocks I don't want to add a T slot to,
And I guess when I do slot out my stock I would try to get in on a milling machine.. That's probably the best way to get a precise cutout that won't be ugly

A box jig and a router would also work.

The common element here is that to get a nice job you need to spend the time setting up a mill or making a proper guide for a router that holds the stock firmly and accurately while providing the control of the router during the cuts. This is not the time for makeshift clamping setups or trying to hold it against a spacer on a router table.
 
so I ordered a - MYSTIC PRECISION LONG (2.5 TO 3.6") SWIVEL STUD T SLOT RAIL ADAPTOR -

this will require a second swivel stud?

If someone has a pic of what this looks like on a gun please post it. It would be very much appreciated.
