Hi all
Usually when I make stocks I start with a square piece of wood, I inlet the action and barrel into the square block, and at the end only I do the exterior shape. A guy wanted me to inlet a Boyd's stock, here are a couple of pics for those of you who would want to do it.
I built a box around the stock so I could have a square reference for machining with the router. I don't have a milling or anything of that kind, only a router and hand tools.
Then I started working on it.
