I took a small glass baby food jar, poked a hole in the "screw on" tin lid - stuck through a strip from bottom of T-shirt as wick - filled about half full of kerosene
I went with the camp stove container because I didn't like the idea of a glass container smashing burning kerosene all over the floor
Micheal's (craft supply) also has a bunch of different sized tin containers, some with screw tops that may work out as well.
not throwing poop at ya - just my $0.2 on glass and volatile liquids. (especially if they are already on fire!)
