Ok so setting up a belt for multigun shoots and have a pretty standard duty style belt with an inner and outer belt that Velcro’s together.
However I’ve seen people wear it both ways, with the outer belts opening tab in the front like a normal belt or in the back.
Curious how others are wearing the belt and the pros and cons of each.

It depends on where you want your gear. Front or back?
If your multigun shoots tend to have plenty of prone stuff, you'll want your pouches / accessories on your sides and back, so set it up to mate in front.
If prone isn't an issue, set it up for the back as accessing your stuff in front is always faster.

I ran my 3 gun setup with the belt overlapping back right. Basically behind your pistol is the least likely place to want to carry stuff. I could carry stuff all along the front, and as far around the back as i can reach with my left hand. I ran double alpha rails so i could move gear around as needed.

I just overlapped the inner belt in front like a normal belt.

My inner belt always overlaps in the front. My 3 gun outer belt over laps in the back because it allows you more options for equipment placement. I do not shoot open in IPSC so I don’t need the space in front and overlap that outer belt in the front.
