Guys and Girls. Today's black rifles to me look amazing and would like to hear what you all think about tomorrow's looks. How much more lite and thin and beautiful can they get?? Are these current Tavors, ACR's ect. going to look dated? I think we're going to be shooting out lasers soon lol, how much more can change?

It's hard to imagine! But I bet there were lots of people with flint locks saying it won't get much better then this.

Barring the adoption of caseless ammunition, I don't see much left to improve upon with the latest generation of black rifles, being limited to brass cased ammunition. We may see improvements in longevity and reductions in weight as lighter materials are developed/practical to employ. It will also be interesting to see what happens with railgun/coilgun technology as we continue to work on supercapacitor and room temperature superconductor technology.

All tech looks dated after. A while.
Fireams are the slowest. Product to accept. Change that I have ever worked with
To think people as still useing chrome line bore,s and think useing snythetics in MFG is still voodoo.
Nitriding gun parts is the new hi tech finish..... From 1952..
