Hey Glenn!

I'm proud to say I have my AR 22 kit to show up this week, got it from dominion outdoors in winkler Manitoba. Great guys there! $189 plus $13 flat rate shipping! They also have the rails for these a 4" rail will run $18.

I also have coming this week, a donor action, an sr22 barrel (which should look wicked in this kit) and some fab arms BUIS!

Gonna put on my vortex 2-7 rimfire scope and play this weekend. Also going to be checking my buddies promag 9-22 or whatever the at lookin mag is that comes with the nomad kit, see how it looks, performs, or even fits lol I'll be posting a "my thoughts" thread this weekend!

Nice lookin kit btw! :)
I'm just itching to get mine that much worse now! Thanks for that lol

Hey targetGuy
depending what you are running on you 10/22 now be advidsed that the new kit feels so much better, my old ati stock was plastic feel the scorpion one or what ever its called didn't really like it but when I installed the ar-22 stock OMG...it is heavier and actually feels like a AR well more now then before, when I had it out at the range few weeks ago I shot the crap out of it and loved it. One thing about it I don't like is you have to take off the stock to really clean it, but I don't plan on doing that too much as a patch down the barrel and some Q-tips works great..will pick up new firing pin later and a few more small upgrades.
A couple of stove pipes but using bulk federal blue box cheap ammo, I picked up two boxes of rem green box to see how they perform later.
would be nice if ATI made mags too then it would look complete
are you putting a sling on it if so how will you be mounting it...pics once its installed.
interested with the new barrel and how it will look
pics tons of pics please
Glenn.

Hey man,
Oh there will be pics lol. I DO want to mount a single point sling. And Judging by pics there's no attachment point so I'll probably end up getting a low profile picatinny mount and place it on top as far rearward as I can. But that could change in a hurry as I feel it will be a pain.

I don't currently own any 10/22's but I have had probably 10+ in the past all done up differently. And The one I have coming is just a barrelled action so I'll have nothing for an immediate comparison so I'm sure it will feel great! I've had the taco kit and the sr22 so I'm assuming I'll know the feeling of it. I PM'd dominion again to find out about shipping on the rail section for the forend so I'll update that when I get a reply. But I did find a 12" section (not in stock anywhere) but that's what I would really like for the bottom of the forend so that will be in the near future!

I used that ATI AR stock with my Scoped 10/22. It has no front Barrel band. After the stock installation my gun shot 8 inches high at 100 yards. I couldn't understand what was going on. I couldn't get enough adjustment in the scope to correct it. I noticed the Original Stock was a nice Snug fit to the receiver and barrel with a Barrel band holding the barrel Tight to the stock. The new ATI holds Nothing. I put the original stock back on and my accuracy came right back. I wont use another after-market stock that hasn't got a barrel band.

How long is the forend .I think it would be cool with a shorter bull barrel.

I have my kit done with the sr22 barrel. It stick out about 2"
I'll have pics up tonight.

It all went together well, so hopefully I won't experience running out of adjustment with my optic and BUS (which haven't arrived yet)

Hey thanks for the barrel man! Enjoy yours too ;)

And the stock is really a lot more solid and heavier than I thought it would be!
Feels quality!
