I have had some fte with mine also. The reason is the powder charge in the target loads that are marked "light" are not enough to cycle the action. I have switched to "heavy" target loads and have NEVER had another problem. Also shoot a lot of steel shot without a single problem. I love it, very good value.

I've been reading a lot of American boards about this gun. I also am very interested! Many people are saying it is the ALS 2100 with a weatherby name that traditions used to import. Most are saying this is a piece of junk. I am still interested as I think it's a great looking gun. Any ideas?
I own the PA 08 and it is an awesome gun, started looking at the 870 but for the money this is the much better shotgun considering chrome lined barrel and beautiful wood finish, i am also really thinking about picking up the SA 08 as well! Recommend weatherby all the way! only problem i am havin with the PA 08 is getting my hands on a rifled barrel. anyone else having this issue or know how to get around it?
