Insane price for Mosins rifles

Saw westrifle with Mosins at $160 I think with peeling shellac

Saw Mosins at Canadian Tire for $220

Saw a laminate Mosin at reliable for $220

Saw Chinese SKS never fired for under $200

Saw SVT-40s at lever arms for $200

Saw K31s at wholesale sports for $300

A lot of seeing and no buying .. also saw houses for 300k that are now 1.3 million ... never ask me, if it’s the right time to buy .. I always miss out,

I was following that auction. In addition to a vague feeling I'd seen that rifle before (I think from a past auction), I couldn't see anything from the limited photos that would suggest this value. Auction sale prices are not comparable to EE/gun show prices which are not comparable to commercial dealer prices. Finnish or otherwise mismatched M91's rarely go this high.

milsurpo

And it will even be higher once the buyers premium, taxes, and shipping charges are added...probably add another third to the already high price....so likely somewhere around $1300...for a mismatched Finnish Mosin-Nagant.

Is amazing how prices on Mosins start to perform: Tenda sell hex mosin for 550$. Shipped to my door will be around 650$. Is the same level with Swiss firearms.
Is near the price of SVT (regular price of SVT was triple than Mosin). Was produced 60 milions of Mosins during a century....

I'm guessing through 6 pages of responses, I am likely saying something that has already posted...

Don't like the price, move on, don't let the door hit you the ass on the way out.

I always tell a friend of mine what guns I am buying, he always responds to me once they are sold out "I wish I would have bought one, maybe there are more?" or "You were lucky" - it is so funny.

Those bitcoins will be illegal soon enough if only for the energy consumption of those stupid things. Literally the amount of power Argentina uses in a year is currently required just for it to exist.

We have seen major electricity problems in China and now Texas. The question for all the bitcoin lovers is: What will happen if the mining is over?

.

When the mining is over ?

You mean no electricity... worldwide ? yeah right.

How much energy do you think the hundreds of central banks worldwide, hundreds of bank's skyscrapers, millions of bank and government employees etc. take ? Basically the whole banking sector + the whole gov. branch managing it. And this worldwide.

Banning bitcoin... are you serious...

All these arguments are FUD spread by "journalists" and the establishment.

Not only the energy consumption but the fact that only 13 transactions per second can happen makes it next to useless as a currency

Again you are wrong. Google bitcoin lightning network.
Stop reading the medias and watch real information on YouTube or something.

Bitcoin is not a currency. Its money.

Warren Buffett said bitcoin is ‘probably rat poison squared’. I will let you guess who's the rat.

“We don’t own any, we’re not short any, we’ll never have a position in them,” he said.

That was in 2018. The day Berkshire Hathaway will announce they are long on bitcoin is coming.

Believe what you like, but its a useless currency backed by nothing that consumes a ton of energy to the detriment of society. Buy gold or silver if you want a non-fiat currency with inherent value

Yes.. backed by nothing... oh wait what's this ?

Fiat is backed by nothing and they can create as much as they want, stealing everybody's purchasing power in the process.

So your solution is to take a currency backed by a government (which is still something), and replace it with a currency backed by literally nothing... Again Gold and Silver is the way to go if that is your concern. The only reason people are buying into it at the moment is because they believe its a get rich quick scheme. Much like those gamestop speculators, one of these days someone is going to be left with the bill.
