Insight M3 Latch bar?

Hi all,

When I slide the Insight M3 onto the Sig226R rail, I can't get the latch bar installed. Do I remove the spring, or bend it out of the way? I've downloaded the manual, but there's no info at all.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question - first handgun and combatlight.

??? As you slide it on the rail, the latch should click up into the slot on it's own. Are you sure you've pushed it far enough on?

My Insight M3x came packed w/ a latch specific for HK's as well as the generic one.. make sure you have the correct one.

Thanks for the help, and suggestions guys.

Insight are sending me a replacement spring and latch bar. Apparently, they've had a few cases where the springs are a bit too long, and don't quite sit right on Sig rails. They suspect that might be the case with mine.

As a side note, top notch customer service from the folks at Insight!
