No reason you couldn’t use a Heathen on a 223. The IBI tactical brake is a better brake IMO, it’s cheaper and IBI has never used questionable marketing strategies.
What questionable marketing strategies?
Using people to spam shooting forums promoting their products. One particular person is on a temporary ban currently.

So because you promoted the IBI brake, we are to assume your promoting their product from first hand use or spam. Great products get great reviews because they work. The only questionable thing here as rugbydave mentioned is your promotion of IBI

No body asked about a IBI brake ? Or about marketing strategies did they ? RJ
Except I’ve never been sponsored by IBI whereas this particular individual was sponsored by Insite.
Promoting is one thing, crapping all over every other company is another and that’s exactly what was happening
It is a very similar design that performs as well or better for a lower price. Anyone interested in the Heathen should look at the IBI.
Seems pretty relevant to me
Also it has flat sides so you can actually use a wrench to install it. No need to buy a tool.
I have a Heathen on my 6.5CM, works excellent, however mine does occasionally come loose. It could be the machining on the factory barrel. I keep a small rubber strap wrench in my range bag.
If it is coming loose we have seen it more likely on factory threads ...the strap wrench is key.. and wont damage threads
This can even be more common with the stainless g2 brakes. Stainless brakes on stainless barrels somtimes need a bit extra torque of a strap wrench to stay tight.
The reason we dont make flats for a wrench is that it increases the likelihood of stretching the threads. We have seen several instances where a wrench has deformed the threads and leads to a consistently loose brake.
We also have a no questions asked money back guarantee.....even a year later....you arent happy or dont like our brake....send it back for a full refund
