We been making these knobs for a while now

...and actually found ourselves using them more often than we thought to check scope ring/mount cross bolts or swap a scope in the field or at the range when no Torque Wrench or other tools are on hand:

Clever indeed!
Another option would be a hex socket to accept standard bits.

How about a 1/2" magnetic insert that fits the end of the bolt handle, with the hex socket built into the insert - best of BOTH worlds!!!

Fit a knife in there somewhere, and the Swiss Army may come calling...

The purpose is for a backup or emergency use when the correct wrench isn't on hand...most of us likely have been in that situation once or twice:) As well , most of these knobs are going on custom actions with 1 piece bolt/handles or at least a welded interface...on a high quality action the cross bolts on a ring would break or strip long before anything else fails. No different than using a regular wrench when you don't have a torque wrench.

It is slick - but not exactly our own idea - we saw a handle similar to this at Shot Show about 5 or 6 years ago; we use steel instead of aluminum on the "socket style" knob.

We started making these for our in-shop builds as they will readily fit Surgeon / Defiance / BAT actions. We haven't checked until now if there is demand to sell separately; it looks like there is interest!

We will do some figuring and get back to everyone with some numbers and availability

That's great! All of my builds in the future will use your bolt knobs if the price is reasonable and they're SS.
