Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone has installed a bottom rail on their rifle, for per-se the Atlas Accu-Shot bi-pod? I am thinking of having this done as I really like the looks of those bi-pods as well as the functions for cant and pan; and since I have one of their rear mono-pods already on my rifle, it would be nice to have a matching bi-pod. Also does anyone know if doing this (having a bottom rail installed) will affect accuracy?
I am not worried so much about accuracy right now though, as I am about as stated above - accuracy, and also what will it cost to have a smith to install something like the necessary component?
Also right now, it is a Savage model 10 with the factory "Accu-stock" on the rifle.
This is rail I am thinking of installing:
