Was just wondering if you are supposed to use an AR-15 wrench to torque on the castle nut with one of these. My VZ-58 came with a folding metal stock and I wasn't a fan so I'm trying to install an AR-15 stock on it, but not sure how tight the castle nut should be. Any help appreciated.

Find a mithril wrench and give it a smack with Thor's hammer.. that's how mine came from factory. Jokes aside, it seems most people suggest castle nuts on an AR to be torqued to 40lbs-ft

One problem I had with the M4 style butt stock that came with my rifle was that the nut would loosen while shooting. It was made with garbage steel so using a castle nut wrench would actually scratch and deform the nut when I re-tightened it.

I solved the problem by just buying another nut made with better steel, lock-tite'd it and screwed it down hard.

So just keep that in mind if it happens to you.
