I bought the gun set up this way on the EE for 75 dollars, including an extra barrel and a pistol grip.The barrel porting works very well to make the recoil go straight back instead of lifting the barrel off target.The front sight seems soldered and the rear is tapped and screwed into the reciever.

I came at the problem a little differently. Because my Mossberg 500 has a pistol grip, I installed a Weaver base ( $12 ) and a cheap Tasco red dot scope. ( $50 ) This system works well and is ten minutes work not including sighting in. The Mossberg is drilled and tapped already so cost is parts only.
