Installing Magpul parts to a Norinco *PIC*

I got my Magpul Moe parts for my Norinco M4.

Looks like grip definatelly needs to be filed to fit the rifle. the opening is way too small.

Handguard 'clamps' looks oversised; and probably needs to be files as well I (the part that slips on and is being held by the gun by the front sight).

No idea how to remove the stock. How do you guys do it? do I need a special tool for that??

I know others have done this as well. Any tips??

Do you need to take off the butt stock tube or just the butt stock?

I put Magpull foreends on mine, took a bit of filing and a lot of cursing....

I have an AeroSpace lower and the MOE grips were crazy tight... but I got them on (although I had to chamfer the opening on the grips, then persuade them on with a rubber mallet).

tell me about it!! once I put the top part on the bottom part doesn't want to go on. when I remove the top, the bottom on itself fits just fine. what did you file??

oh and I got the butt stock removed. at least that was super easy!

You gotta 'file the smile'. The curved part at the front of the lower guard is a bit to thick. Some maybe bit too long as well. The rest of the contact points should fit.

I got a Magpul CTR that I'm planning to put on my Norc M4. How hard it is to put it on? Any tools required?

weird, I just used some elbow grease, and it all fit.

CTR's and stock M4 stock are easy to remove and install. Instead of pressing down on the lever like you would when adjusting it you pull it down and slide it off. As for the CTR you pull the little cross pin down and slide the stock on the tube.

My AR is a bushmaster and my MIAD was a quite tight to fit but I finally managed to get it on. Its well documented on CGN that the MOE hand guard needs some filing to fit on the Norinco.

I love the green! I saw your M4 thread, and that's exactly what I didn't want to do with my gun (hate the quad rails, vertical grips or bipods on an AR). just different tastes I guess.

It looks great! The Magpul furniture really enhances the tacticool look. I laugh as I write this, because I'm into "practicool" functionality, but there's no denying that good furniture can look awesome.

You have a fine looking rifle.

Joking aside, I like your set up. I'm planning to do the same thing on my Norc, but decided to go with UTG quad rails, Black Magpul CTR stock, MOE grip and trigger guard.
