I tried searching but can't find anything.

I put my safe up in my room and bolted it to the floor and the wall. The wall however is drywall, but I made sure the bolt is to the support beam.

Do u think that is a good idea or it should be bolted to concrete supports?

Thanks

Only thing I have in the master bedroom is a decoy safe full of washers, rocks and newspapers. It is not bolted down. :~))

But... if you have to put it in your bedroom, support beam is probably a good bet.

Thanks.

I figure if a thief really wants that safe he can pry thru the drywall to get to the support beams, but then he has to get a saw.

The only option for me is the basement, but my safe ain't going there. I might rent the basement out.

I will add another bolt tomorrow, stupid safe only came with 2 bolts. I'll add an extra one to make life more difficult.

cheers
