Just curious if anyone has had experience interchanging 748 with BLC2?

I have searched the net, and most of the data looks pretty similar but nothing 1:1 to compare identical charge weights vs pressure, nor velocity.

Not quite interchangeable, but really close. Win 748 is number 82 on Hodgdon's burn rate chart. BL-C2 is number 83. Win 748 gives a bit more pressure with a 180 grain bullet in a .308 max load. (A whole 600 CUP.) Mind you, Hodgdon only gives max loads for 748.

There is no need to swap data, as there is ample data for both powders. Just because they are similar most of the time, is no indication that they are similar all the time.

BL-C(2) is a canister grade equivalent to WC 846 (depending on lot-to-lot variation of the WC 846), which is used to load 7.62mm NATO.

W748 is another similar powder that can be used for the same applications with similar powder charges, but it cannot be substituted outright the way H110/W296 or HP-38/W231 can. The two powders are different in appearance; BL-C(2) kernels are very fine and have a shiny appearance whereas W748 kernels are coarser and have a dull appearance.

There is no need to exchange these two powders, they are NOT the same, and there is tons of data for each.
Depending on the application, pressure could be substantially different, or hardly different at all.

Best to ask for the data you need, maybe we can help.
What is the application?
