Interchangeable barrels on o/u shotguns

crashman is right... the franchi alcione has interchangeable barrels with no fitting required. go from 12 to 20 to 28 as fast as you can change over!

one of thedealers had a 4 barrel set 12 20 28 410 while back, used
browning I think it was ( could have been win 101) .
At the time , was not interested, today I would have been checking
it out. In years past, you could get anything you wanted.
Just takes bags of money.

Caesar Guerini has many multi barrel combos available. Browning currently has only as 20/28 combo in their catalogue but they are usually doing special runs of 4 barrel and 3 barrel sets. Beretta has several 20/28 combos. Barrel sets seem to be coming back now but were more popular back before briley and kolar started making tube sets (tubes that fit in barrels to modify to other smaller gauges).

Just keep in mind, in case it matters to you...... when you have a switch-barrel shotgun, your sub gauges are all going to be on a 12g frame. You lose a bit of the point of having a lighter gauge shotgun in the first place, (less weight, balance is off, pointability, etc), but you do gain a very versatile piece of equipment.

I wouldn't mind having one.

You can get 20ga/28ga. combos I'm not sure about 12ga/20ga. not likely manufactures are going to put small frame 20ga.bbls on a large 12ga frame . Maybe on an entry level not likely oh high end guns .

Stoeger Condor Combo O/U in 12/20 it's like $800 last I looked but the 20 gauge feels heavier then the 12 to me for some reason. For like $50 less then the Condor Combo they have the Uplander Combo SxS in 12/20. Good luck

Combo sets especially 4 barrel sets are all on 12 gauge frames and are matched weight and balance. Pretty well regardless of manufacturer

A 20/28 would be on a twenty gauge frame

A 28/410 would be on a 28 gauge frame although sometimes they are still on 20 frames
