Interest in a New Shooter Day at the Swiss Rifle Club Calgary

Hi - our club, the Swiss Rifle Club Calgary, is considering a new shooter day. This would basically be an intro to the range for people that might want to join in 2019. You can read about the range at our site. At this point we haven't picked any dates, but just wanted to gauge the interest level. PM me if you might be interested.

Mike: Question for you- as a member of the Swiss club are you allowed to shoot other (non-Swiss) rifles on the range? I might buy a K31 and join if I knew I'd also be able to shoot my Lee Enfield target rifles at 300 yards.

the range has 3 distances: 100, 200 & 300m. The 300m shooting point has 10 (or 11 can't remember) target frames, 4 of which are used specifically for the K31 and PE90 since they use the Swiss ASUS electronic system. Other than those four frames, you can use any rifle up to 338 Lapua.
 
I am a 2017 member, they have "house" K31's which I used for the two Swiss shoots last year. I subsequently picked up a k31 circa 1942, as it was pretty nice. There is also quite a bit of experience at the clubhouse which is great for newbs and those returning to the range after a long gap, like myself.
Pistol range also, with house gun running many weekends.
The area is also outdoors and pleasant, 45 min for me from NW Calgary
