Interested in .22WMR rifles...

I have a Winchester m9422m lever action that I like.I have shot lots of beaver a couple of Fox and a coyote or two.Easy to pack,Light wieght a great little rifle.

weight is something i havent considered, ideally light is best but with a good barrel for high volume shooting... and excellent accuracy. something you can take apart and service/replace bits, upgrade/customize would be nice..
ill know better once i hold a couple marlins and a couple savages.

You might want to hold a couple of the CZ bolt action .22WMR models.
If you want a very cool and experienced look at the range you might consider the CZ452FS,(full stock) i. e. stocked to the muzzle. It tends to be a rifle preferred by those who have shot a bunch. Having one of them att the range will usually get you several people wanting to have a look at it. I also like the detachable box magazines. Safe at the range and fast to reload in the field. Just my $0.05.

gorgeous. the full stock probably gives it great balance.

I like the CZ 9mm pistols i've fired better than the glocks.. it seems they make a good product.

well ive got my shopping list and theres a gun show coming up in edmonton in a couple weeks!! Gonna go see what I can find since all the shops wont have what I want...

they only seem to carry this years models.. not anything from the early 2000's or whatever. like certain marlins..

im sure someone can walk me through a lot about ammo as well.. i dont believe in buying by the box, more like by the 2,000 rounds, but i'll probably buy a small box of all the various types that are suited to the rifle for target, hunting etc and test them all out for feel.

Never a bad idea with any rinfire. However I have to say that I have never found .22 wmr to be a sensitive to different firearms as .22 LR can be; but that observation is based on shooting about 5 types of wmr ammo 40 and 50 grain only through a 77/22, CZ 452, Savage bolt action Mannlicher, and a Savage Stevens 30GM. I may take in that show also.
