I'm in depending on the date in the summer. July is a bad one for me. When you say carbine is it AR only? Can we use CZ858, Beretta storm 180B or Swiss Arms, etc ?

The question is - will the Beretta Storm or the AR180B survive an intense fiiring schedule? You should ask the instructors ahead and get their opinions. They have seen enough different weapons in these classes with the experience to know what it will take to survive.

I am not sure the swiss arms is good choice - remember, you have to shoot 1000 rounds off this thing -without support! Now, imaging raising a 10lb dumbbell 1000 times instead of a 8lb dumbbell.........

+ 1000000, nothing worse than stopping a lecture to help some guy fix his bargain basement POS rifle.The shooter will not get the full value from the course either, other than stoppage drills while falling behind the curve.

Date will be a consideration,Other than that I'm interested.As far as Gun choice,If you have a second gun bring it.Ive found that in intesive courses
Like these Its easier to switch guns if firing pin breaks etc.You can always
do repairs during meal breaks or in the evening.I also suggest that any extra
bling be removed for the course.KISS is the way to go in these type of courses.I've seen guys show up being loud and proud about the latest and greatest accessories only to be removing them while cursing away as they
progressed through the course. Same goes for the Hand gun course which
I'm also interested in.

Someone needs to bring 10-8 out West. Also there is an excellent article on what to take to a course in the latest issue of SWAT and as always Jeff Carpenters article which can be found on M4Carbine.net is mandatory reading prior to attending a Fighting course. JMO
