It can be safely assumed that all modern firearms have rifling (with the exception of smoothbore shotguns.)

Better accuracy , yes. Range only matters as far as you can hit your target accurately, so having better accuracy leads to having better range. Unless you're talking about bullet travel.........

ive been hitting the 100 yard 2" gong with a red dot pretty much consistantly and yes the barrel is rifled

I would be interested in a shorter barrelled version,...preferable just the barrels that are threaded the same, and come with a flash hider. Hard to find one in Canada for the 9mm.

wow......isnt it interesting how much knowlege people have of fire arms.......maybee......the gov should start imposing some kind of test before giving out permits.

There is a non restricted version it has a longer barrel if you are asking for a semi centre fire with a short barrel that is non restricted than I suggest you reread the Canadian centre fire restrictions on semis in the non res catagory

I was being fa·ce·tious .. but since we are talking about semi auto rifles and you know so much about them:
Why can I stick a .40 cal glock mag inside the Sub 2000 9mm that holds 13 rounds and it is legal for me to do that?
And while you are at it, explain the rest of the laws in Canada that make absolutely no sense at all.

And your mag should NOT be able to hold 13 rounds it should be pinned to allow 10

I'd be interested in a barrel, I have the NR version, would not mind if it were restricted as I only shoot at the range anyway. If not, I'd like JR to make a longer foreend. I like theirs, but it's too short.

The sub 2000 question, was a rhetorical question...
A glock magazine that is made for .40's (Glock 22 for instance) can hold the 9mm rounds, So you can put around 12-13 9mm rounds in the .40 magazine. but because the .40 is a larger round it leaves more space for the 9mm cartridge, which is why you can hold a couple more 9mm in the magazine... So the the Glock .40 mag is pinned to 10, but you can shove 12-13 9mm rounds in it and then you can put that same magazine in a sub2000 chambered in 9mm.
And why it is legal for someone to do that? Because the limit is on the magazine, not the gun.

I do not own a sub 2000 or a glock handgun, I was using this as an example.
Do your own research and make sure you know the law before going out shooting.
