I started with the ABC's of reloading and then picked up the Lyman manual.
The ABC's is like reloading for Dummies, it lays out the process in the simplest terms.
I also found the Lyman manual to be packed full of information and data for all the calibers I am looking forward to loading.

I know the idea of reloading is to save some coin, but consider picking up more than one book. It will be money well spent because there are some books that cover different material. For instance, the Lee 2nd edition is good at describing the basic reloading process, and has a lot of recipes. But the lyman books will give more detailed info on reloading specific calibers (for example it's easy to accidentally tear the rim on 45 colt casings, use heavy roll crimp for 44 mag)

I'd start off reading The ABCs of Reloading. There are a number of editions, but the difference between them is not that great, so find the best bargain. ABCs gives you the basic understanding. Its shortfall is in the shortage of load data - the 'recipies', if you will.
Then go and buy one or more reloading manuals. Most of the major reloading manufacturers (Speer, Sierra, Hornady, Lee, etc) publish them and, while they all have their particular advantages, none of them are bad and the data in all of them can be trusted.
While watching on-line videos can be useful and informative, I would take absolutely no 'recipes' from the net until I got a good feel for reloading. While there are good sites, there are also a lot of irresponsible bozos out there, people that push the limits waaay beyond safe.
