I've seen another design on a 1911 as well. Should take a picture of it one of these days. Kinda interesting. Though, a little disconcerting if one of the comments is right. "This is an incredibly easy modification that requires nothing more than a good coarse file".

The Spanish Star FAs were a lot like that, only with a selector-switch that slides vertically in the right side of the slide.

LOL! Might be hard to control without the stock. Would be cool to see with a larger magazine.

Did you catch his finger in the guard before switching to full auto?
