Yes the Early Ser # ed Colts get a Higher price.


I have one in the 17500s and anything decent under 40,000 tends to be more Expensive than the higher Ser # guns.

Heres a picture. its got the Orignal grips in this picture they have shurnk or just worn down.
I have a brand new Walnut grip on it now so it looks 100% better.
This unit is set up in 45 Schofield now but the Trigger gard Back strap and Frame ser #s all match.
Also on the Early guns they have the Round Ejector Head like this one has.
This gun has a newer Barrel installed.

Anyway the Low ser #ed Colts do cost more.

There's a Serial 1 in .22rf, another serial 1 in .44rf, this one, and likely more....still scarce and bigbux, though..
