Interesting comment from wife

love a woman that hunts.......my wife started this year. Local day hunts......maybe a few trips when the kids are older, but she has already stated she does not want to get in the way of my yearly trip with the guys

it,s like fishing.....if you dont set your hook..it will get away with offers of better bait...
BTW.......im just :p ya..

I finally decided to read this thread. I thought it was going to be a story about a wife telling you that she detests your hunting activities. What a pleasant surprise to find the exact opposite.

This reminds me of what one of our cowboy action shooters said. He is real gung ho on CAS. He missed one of our monthly matches. On the next match when he showed up we asked him what happened. He looked down sheepishly to the ground and explained that his wife made him go fishing with her. She is an avid fishherman. Poor guy.:p

You guys who haven't considered it should ask the wife/gf if she would like to try hunting. You might be surprised.

I have posted these before, but here they are again.

My buddy's wife and her first big game, a very nice black bear.

She has since become a moose and caribou hunter as well. :D

My wife's 60 inch moose from two years ago.

She has killed at least 15 or 16 moose, many caribou, bear, a wolf and a Dall ram.

Why not at least try to get them involved?
