Interesting CZ-75 Failure

before you put the pin back in I would have put some lock tite blue on it . they have a fixed barrel bushing . not like a 1911 . one you don't take out . I hope this works for you. their nice pistols.

was the gun new? if not, previous owner may have messed with it. Otherwise you got that 1 in a million gun

Blue loctite not really, Loctite retaining compound sure but the roll pin would likely remove both. It's a roll pin, does it's own thing.

Loc Tite isn't necessary. Like Slavex said 1 in a million the roll pin falls out. It may not have even been there and was just missed 1 in 2 million but there you are.

Hell I may find mine now after a couple of years knowing it may be further down range than I originally thought. Don't need it as my bushing has been replaced long ago. In my case the roll pin didn;t fall out I just didn;t put it back in again. :>)

Looking at my 85C now, I see the bushing. In fact, it spins?

Did the 75 Pre-B have a bushing? My Pre-B had a staked front sight, so no pin to hold a bushing in.

My 1988 Pre B 85 Combat had a bushing. I suspect your 75 Pre B would have had one as well. Likely the bushing was held in by the staked sight but that is speculation on my part if it did not have the roll pin. I am surprised the bushing turns as the ones I have seen have been press fitted. MY gun went to a local machinist to have the replacement bushing pressed in.

It's not obvious. If you google "CZ 75 exploded" for pictures, some diagrams don't show it but it is listed under "slide with barrel bushing*", the * meaning that different versions exist and parts can be missing altogether (we'll assume that all gun were delivered with a slide...).
