Interesting LE Markings S5LE III*

I have seen SMLE and SHTLE plenty.
Got a 1919 S5LE III* barreled receiver here.
Any clues?

Now that the sun is out I got some good pics

I see a heavily struck ShtLE causing the letters HT & its underline to merge into each other.
Here's the markings on my 1918 MkIII* that is heavily struck on the RHS of the markings

It must have been a rule that Lee Enfields had to be stamped in the dark with your eyes closed.
I think it's just the way it's stamped.
