interesting new RIA wide body 1911

That's pretty cool... too bad that TCM ammo is probably impossible to find. But, you get a 9mm barrel as well! Wide-bodied 1911 might be for those of us with big hands that like the 1911 platform (like me). I'm intrigued by this.

If it's the same grip size as the other "2011" double stack guns I'll pass. Holding that style is about as much like holding a 2x4 with a barrel attached as holding a Glock. And this is coming from a guy with large hands that take Large to XLarge size gloves.

The video was awesome until they said " it takes para mags "

well it is a para clone... (only high cap design that is out of copyright/patent i believe so only way they wont get sued)

im interested because that .22 tcm round is very long... and it fits the mag totally which makes my brain think 7.62x25

2000 f/s is wicked... that's just nuts coming out of a pistol. Wouldn't that pressure beat up the 1911 platform to hell? It's used to lower pressure 45 rounds.

Really depends on how high they load the ammo and how they tune the recoil spring to match. 9 mm and 40S&W are relatively high pressure cartridges at 30-31K psi, and 1911s have taken that much pressure with no issues.
